  Kumi Korea

Kumi is located in the southeast area of the Republic of Korea, under the Kyungsang Buk_do (analogous to province). It is the largest industrial city of electronics in the interior area of Korea. It covers 617.28 square kilometers and has a population of over 3000,000. The industrial area accounts for 6.6 million square meters, mainly producing electronics, semiconductors, TVs, Braun tubes, VCRs, related telecommunication and information equipment, etc. It is an important industrial city of Korea, with the electronics industry as its pillars.

There are flights from Seoul to Taegu. It only takes one hour from Taegu to Kumi by the Kyung-bu expressway or kyung-bu railway.

On October 19, 1998, Kim Kwan Yong, Mayor of Kumi and Du Yuanming, Mayor of Changsha, signed “The Agreement on Establishment of Friendship City Relationship between Kumi and Changsha” in Changsha.
